Hello,
I am Dana, one of the 150 Romanian missionary involved in non-evangelized countries of the world and one of the over 250 000 missionaries of Youth With a Mission International ( http://www.ywam.org).
I said YES and I made the choice to be trough my life one of the Christ preachers.
Rom 10:14 How then may they call on One into whom they have not believed? And how may they believe One of whom they have not heard? And how may they hear without preaching?

Studies: university and MB; I also finished some courses for Child Evangelism, Christian Social Assistance and the YWAM School of Bible Interpretation
Religion: Christian, member in a pentecostal church
Hobbies: local and international mission; charity for children and poor people; motivation and training for young missionaries; Bible Study; writing books; serving where God is calling me
Occupation: after 12 years as a leader in a Romanian charity organization, God called me to be full-time in His service. Right now I am a MISSIONARY for Youth With a Mission Medias Romania, helping as a volunteer .

Mission experience:
- for 10 years I was coordinating/ in the organizing team summer Christian camps for children and youth
- involved in evangelizing activities in Romania: for villages, new planted churches, children, students
- for 3 years I thought at our church's Sunday School
- short term missions :5 times in India; 2 times in Republic of Moldavia; once in Nepal; ones in Turkey
- since one year I am working with YWAM Medias in: leading/ participating to short term missions in Romania and abroad; helping with my team to organise a yearly festival ProMission and then conferences ProMessiah, that motivates youth to missions; youth training; administration work (communication, image, accountancy)
- author of Christian theater and books for children
- video and web design about mission work
2007- an year of blessings
Now, at the final of the year, I want to share with you the joy and God's blessings that I received in my first year of serving as “ fool time missionary”. It wasn't always easy and many times my faith and hope were severely tested. But I continued to advance and to listen His call and He fulfilled the promise given to those who are searching His way and His kingdom- He took care of me in all my steps:

is Word. That time made me see and feel that I was implanted in Him with strong roots so I could continue to follow Him without fear.

That time made me see and feel that I was implanted in Him with strong roots so I could continue to follow Him without fear.- deciding to become His fool-time missionary-I never believed I can leave Galati town, with all his meanings: my church, my friends, my coleags, the organization that I founded and were all my energy, love and creativity was going, the kids I was taking care, the safety of a home, of a salary and .... a lot more things. But God called me and I left all these to go to another chapter of my life: missionary at the International Organization Youth With Mission. Since April 2007 a was working as a voluntary in YWAM Medias (center of Romania) leading/ participating to short or medium term missions, serving in communication and financial departments, organizing conferences and a festival to motivate people to mission, working with youth etc. I continued to keep in my heart, give advises and pray for Heart of A Child Foundation and I could see God taking care of them and continue His work there too.
- participating to 3 external missions (outreaches) and interrnal mission in 3 locations- during this year 
God helped me to serve one month in Moldavia Republic working with children and youth, one month in India with other 3 youth going there for the first time, and 3 weeks in Turkey leading a group of 8 youth. I has happy to see again the woman, kids and Romanian missionaries from India but also to see the hart of God for other non-Christian countries. I haven't received a special calling for one of this countries until now (for longterm mission oversees); but Jesus showed me that I can go under with His guidance to sow or to grow what He chooses; and also He showed me I can help other youth to discover their call for mission. In Romania I participated to short missions in Galati, Slobozia and in Medias were we started recently a ministry for the youth, helping a small local church to grow.

I has happy to see again the woman, kids and Romanian missionaries from India but also to see the hart of God for other non-Christian countries. I haven't received a special calling for one of this countries until now (for longterm mission oversees); but Jesus showed me that I can go under with His guidance to sow or to grow what He chooses; and also He showed me I can help other youth to discover their call for mission. In Romania I participated to short missions in Galati, Slobozia and in Medias were we started recently a ministry for the youth, helping a small local church to grow. - financial blessings- with all my doubt and inexperience of raising founds for me and for this domain, God surprised me with His gifts and miracles in this year too! His “angels” were my brothers and sisters from Emmanuel Church Galati, widows that gave me maybe their last coin, some poor students from Cluj, Parvu and Stoica Family, Alina and Dani, Heart of a Child, Mariana, Laurian, Paula, Danuta, Emmanuel Center Medias and other dear friends. Additionally they prayed and encouraged me a lot. I thank to all that made me to finalize 2007 without debts and to feel strong “armies” that surrounded and supported me all this time. They made that my budget of more than 4500 Euro for the next year to be not a fearful wall in my way but an opportunity to see new blessings of God.
In 2008- it is human to make plans but its fulfilling are not possible without help and blessing from above. So, if is God;s will, I will fly soon to South African Republic and to Uganda for a 5 month school and mission. Pray for physical, emotional and spiritual protection, for the 1300 Euro that I still need for that, to be opened for all that God wants to teach me in this period; also to be a good testimony for all Christians or non-Christians that I will meet there. In August I wish to lead another short therm outreach for youth in Romania or in another country from around.
Pray for the guidance that I need to clearly know what God wants for me when I come back from Africa: go back to YWAM Medias and continue my investment in youth? To go to another location? Start a new project or ministry? Whatever I will do, to be convinced that is His will and call for me and to have courage and faith in all. News and prayer needs
Dear friends and brothers in Christ,
One day when I was seeking God desperately and even accepted to leave all and go to a monastery, He said I will not stay there but I will go until the end of the earth and tell people about
Him. Back than I didn’t know what to believe but He took me to bring His Love and Gospel in places as India, Republic of Moldavia, Nepal, Turkey and different places in Romania. The next frontier of mission for me is AFRICA.. God wants to show me His heart also for this continent. Because I work now with Youth With a Mission and I would like to be in His service for long term, I have the opportunity to do a Mission Course of 6 months at one YWAM base from South Africa: Discipleship Training School.
For 3 months, since January 2008, I will learn and experience there different way of cross-culture evangelism, including using Media (pictures, movies, web).
The theoretical phase of this course will also help me to have a deeper relationship with God, to discover my identity in Him and the gifts He puts in me, to build a character according to His word. The next 3 months we will go in outreaches (missions) in others countries of Africa to share about true God and serve in different local projects (last years the outreaches were in Malawi, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and Zambia).
To be one of a student of this school is a courageous dream, for me who are volunteer right now, especially that the cost for the school, visa, transportation, vaccination, communication is rising at 4000 euro. But I have been accepted to the school, I know that God wants to give me the experience of Africa and I know He will provide!
Be close to me in this new frontier which should be conquered by praying:
- To receive visa in a proper time without having problems at the Embassy (I need to apply in Hungary in order to receive visa)
- Physical, emotional, spiritual protection during this time of preparation
- That God will do miracles as He did before with me and help to raise all the money
- To could solve at good price the plane reservation and vaccination.
